Painted Pony Is a tribute to the horse loving Plains Indians. Often the war horse was a warrior's most prized possession. This example is decorated with a handprint, signifying that the warrior had been involved in hand to hand combate, a feat held in very high regard. Signed and numbered by artist, TL Christensen.
